This category includes our most qualified and experienced therapists. Certified Therapists have, at minimum, doubled or tripled the amount of direct EMDR practice hours, clinical consultation hours, and Continuing Education classes compared to a Trained EMDR therapist.

William A. Smith, LCSW, CCTP

William A. Smith, LCSW, is the Clinical Director for The Atlanta Center for EMDR. He is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Will also manages our Forensic Services.

Will enjoys working with veterans, first responders, medical trauma, legal trauma, attachment/relationship trauma, and sexual trauma. He is a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II) and regularly works with clients who experience issues related to anger.

Will also provides marriage and family therapy to families where a family member or loved one is living with PTSD.

Will is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, where he regularly consults with psychotherapists and psychiatrists across the country on how to conceptualize EMDR cases. Furthermore, Will serves as a coach in EMDR Basic Trainings, where he assists in teaching EMDR to dozens of professionals at a time.

Will is also a forensic mental health evaluator specializing in PTSD evaluations.

Elisabeth Bletsch, LCSW, works with veterans, first responders, children, women’s issues, survivors of sexual abuse, survivors of domestic violence, attachment and relationship trauma, and anxiety and phobias.
